Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the ICU in Fountain Valley, CA. This full-time night-shift position requires directing nursing care for critical care patients and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will assess and plan care, teach patients and families, and ensure adherence to policies. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 external hires, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care for ICU patients.
• Supervise unlicensed staff and document patient data.
• Assess patients, plan interventions, and evaluate care outcomes.
• Educate patients and families and communicate MD orders.
