Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Staff RN for a hospital-based position in Washington. The role involves using specialized training to provide nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on patient outcomes and safety.

The position offers a per diem schedule with 12-hour shifts and variable shifts. A BSN is preferred; current WA RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NALS or TNCC/NRP certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
