Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on day shift (7am–7pm). You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, using established nursing models to support recovery and outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching patients and families, adhering to safety standards, and engaging in evidence-based practice and process improvements.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Active RN license or eligibility in state.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Prepares patients and families for future self-management.
