Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Medical Care Unit. The role focuses on high-acuity patient care with a collaborative team in a community hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have an approved nursing program credential, Florida RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience, preferably in stepdown/IMCU areas. Full-time schedule with day shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or eligibility and BLS/CPR certification.
• 1 year of RN experience; stepdown/IMCU experience preferred.
• Must meet Orlando Health competencies and policies.

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity patients with complex needs using evidence-based practices.
• Respond to life‑threatening situations and coordinate care with the team.
• Monitor equipment, interpret monitors, and document patient data accurately.
• Develop and adjust care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective care.
