Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of the Prime Healthcare family, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU. You will provide direct patient care, apply the nursing process, and mentor junior staff while ensuring patient privacy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU experience; CCRN and BSN are preferred. Compensation range is disclosed and benefits are available. Day shifts with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care in ICU and guidance for patient/family teaching and nursing staff.
