Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU on 7A, full-time, day shift. You will supervise and coordinate nursing activities on your shift and ensure quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Required: nursing degree with active RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP TNCC may be required depending on area. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential; expect a fast-paced environment with lifting

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record patient status; strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; respond to emergencies.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities on shift.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing care.
• Perform nursing assessments and interventions as needed.
