Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse at CHA Cambridge Hospital. The RN will care for critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation and invasive monitoring, in a fast-paced ICU setting. Strong communication with families and the health team is essential.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, MA RN licensure, BLS & ACLS required, and CCRN preferred. Minimum 2 years ICU experience and telemetry proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certification required.
• CCRN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU critical care RN experience.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation and invasive monitoring.
• Monitor telemetry and multiple IV medications.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care in a fast-paced ICU unit.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health team members.
• Respond calmly and accurately in high-stress situations.
