Qualifications

• Graduate of ADN or BSN program.
• ACEN-accredited nursing program graduation.
• Current RN license in the United States with no encumbrances.
• BLS and ALS certifications from AHA or ARC; web-based classes not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific ICU nursing care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Manage critical care duties for patients with complex medical/surgical conditions.
• Document patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families, advocate for safety and quality of care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and operate emergency equipment.
• Assist with invasive procedures and conscious sedation when needed.
• Coordinate care, participate in quality/risk management, and attend care conferences.
