Job summary

A healthcare facility is seeking a talented Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will perform patient assessments, document nursing records, and advocate for patients' needs. An Associate Degree in Nursing is required, along with a current RN license in Nebraska. Preferred candidates will have 2 years of nursing experience or prior ICU preceptorship. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience or previous ICU preceptorship is preferred.
• Current registered nursing (RN) license or Temporary permit from the State of NE.
• BLS certification is required, ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient assessments and document nursing records.
• Administer medications according to standards based on patient condition.
• Function as a patient advocate, interacting with providers and family.
