Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program required.
• CA RN License required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Introduce the patient to the unit and surroundings within one hour of arrival.
• Assess admission status and document on admission form and critical care record within 2 hours of arrival.
• Reflect physiological condition and psychosocial needs in the care plan and notes.
• Perform priority patient assessments every shift using observation and interview skills.
• Round and document patient status at least every 2 hours (1 hour for 1:1 CABG or ventilated patients).
• Identify abnormal diagnostic data and respond accordingly.
