Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an ICU Registered Nurse for a 12-bed community hospital unit in Massachusetts. The RN will deliver direct, high-quality care to critically ill patients, including ventilated cases, with advanced monitoring. 36 hours per week, evenings and nights 7p–7a. Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS and ACLS required; BSN preferred.

The role emphasizes care planning, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and ensure safe discharges.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience with strong critical care background.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to individualize patient care.
• Manages patient assignments within the team.
