Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN for the Med Surg ICU in a full-time day shift to deliver high-quality patient care. The RN will apply Mercy's Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Position Details:

RN-WEO- Med Surg ICU- FT Days

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
