Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse with ICU expertise to deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, perform physician-ordered procedures, and educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans. Commitment to quality improvement is essential.

Qualificações

• RN licensed nurse with Georgia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience; ED experience may be considered.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• CCRN must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered by physicians and documents care.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Counsels on non-medicinal follow-up measures including diet and exercise.
• Applies evidence-based practices and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize an individualized care plan.
