Responsibilities

• Perform staffing functions and adjust schedules by census and acuity.
• Assess unit workload, assign tasks, and authorize overtime.
• Ensure policy compliance and provide feedback.
• Orient and educate new and current employees; promote continuing education.
• Contribute to performance management as delegated by nurse manager.
• Uphold professional customer service and coworker relations.
• Assist manager in budget and guideline adherence.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
