Job summary

Adena Health System is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the 2B Intensive Care Unit in Chillicothe. This position is part-time (60% FTE) with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and every third weekend.

The PCA provides high-quality, direct patient care and may support care coordination with the care team. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, GED, or STNA, and required certifications such as de-escalation training within 6 months and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or STNA required.
• De-escalation training within 6 months and annually, BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, including activities of daily living and safe patient handling.
• Assist with clerical tasks as needed and communicate with care team and family to coordinate care.
• Support RN and care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes under supervision.
