Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Under RN supervision, you will assist with direct patient care and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior direct care experience is preferred; CENA training is welcomed. This is a full-time, on-site role with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to support treatment goals.
• Delivers compassionate support to patients and families.
• Provides assistance for daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Ensures compliance with health care regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment adhering to infection-control policies.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
