Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to deliver hands-on patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (Meth). Under RN supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and monitoring, and document patient status.

Qualifications

• Basic CNA Course required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Documents care and status as directed.
• Demonstrates ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
• Maintains shift schedule and seeks to improve quality of care and safety.
