Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center in Davenport, IA is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the ICU. You will assist nursing staff and physicians to deliver safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.

The role includes contributing to customer service, housekeeping, and supply/equipment tasks, with a 3rd shift schedule (7pm–7:30am), full time .9 (36 hours/week), and rotating weekends/holidays. High School diploma required; Basic Life Support training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• No experience required.
• Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in patient care and non-patient care activities.
• Support department housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.
