Job summary

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Riverside, OH is seeking a Part-time Patient Support Assistant to join the Intensive Care Unit 2 team with 24 scheduled hours per week.

The role includes assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, transporting patients, and supporting safety and efficiency under RN supervision. BLS/CPR certifications and basic PC skills are required, along with EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Assist in direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Proficiency with basic computer and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed clinicians with direct and indirect patient care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms, unit, and equipment.
• May assist with telemetry monitoring and notify licensed clinician of life-threatening changes.
• Transport patients and run errands for patient care.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks safely as directed by RN and according to exact instructions.
