Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Intensive Care Unit to supervise a 24-hour operation and lead a high-performing team. The Manager will interview, hire and develop staff, and implement talent retention strategies.

Requirements include RN-Bachelor’s or RN-Master’s, Virginia license (or compact), and BLS within 90 days of hire, with 1 year management and 3 years ICU/acute care experience. Base pay posted please see details.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• RN-Bachelor’s Degree or RN-Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing unit operations and 24-hour coverage for the ICU.
• Mentor, develop, interview, hire, and retain nursing staff to build a high-performing team.
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements in the ICU.
