HCA Healthcare is seeking an ICU Nursing Manager for St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. You will oversee daily unit operations, staffing, and evidence-based practices to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, with 1+ year in leadership and current Texas RN licensure (or compact license). BLS required; ACLS preferred. This role leads a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient experience in a busy ICU.

Formación

• BSN required with specialty certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in state(s) of practice or active compact license; Texas license within 6 months if applicable.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily unit/department operations and staffing to ensure quality patient care.
• Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance safety and outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and accountability for quality.
• Support benchmarking, accreditations, and designations.
• Ensure equipment maintenance meets regulatory/standards.
• Manage admissions and discharges for efficient throughput.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination to meet patient needs.
• Provide leadership to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and staff development.

Educación

BSN

Specialty Certification within 6 months of hire

Texas RN license or active compact license

BLS

ACLS preferred

1+ year leadership experience
