Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s ICU Manager position will organize, plan, lead and direct clinical and management activities for the designated nursing unit, providing daily supervision of patient care and directing nursing assignments.

You will ensure adherence to protocols, safety standards and regulatory requirements while fostering collaboration among the healthcare team to uphold high-quality patient care in the ICU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing from an accredited program (BSN)
• Ability to manage and lead clinical nursing staff
• RN license in Tennessee upon hire
• CPR (Basic Life Support) upon hire
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) upon hire

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, lead and direct clinical and management activities for the ICU unit
• Provide daily oversight of patient care delivery and staff performance
• Ensure adherence to protocols, safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Foster collaboration and continuity of high-quality patient care
• Recruit, develop and retain nursing staff
• Maintain high physician and patient satisfaction across services
