Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• National certification in a specialty area or will obtain within one year.
• 3 years' nursing work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in achieving excellence in clinical quality, safety and service.
• Support the Vision, Values and Strategic Plans of MHS.
• Function as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse as needed on the assigned unit.
• Assume a nursing leadership role as delegated by the Nurse Manager.
