Job summary

UW Medical Center-Montlake is offering an ICU Nurse Residency/Transition to Practice program commencing February 8, 2027. The position supports four ICU departments and requires an active WA RN license (or valid Multistate RN license by January 25, 2027) and two years of acute care RN experience. BLS/ACLS within six months of hire.

90% FTE with 12-hour night and variable shifts. Qualified candidates will learn in a state-of-the-art environment and engage in a comprehensive residency program

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years of RN experience in an acute care environment.
• ICU senior practicum, ICU clinicals, or prior ICU experience in another healthcare role may satisfy requirements.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ICU Nurse Residency/Transition to Practice across four ICU departments.
• Develop core critical care competencies through hands-on practice and mentorship.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
