Job summary

UW Medical Center Montlake is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for multiple units, including ICU Resource Team, Surgical ICU, Medical/Oncology ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU and CCU ICU. Night shifts are 3x12 with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent Registered Nursing work experience in an ICU Department
• ACLS
• BLS
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or valid Multistate license

Responsibilities

• Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers
• Follow evidence-based nursing practices
• Provide bedside for critically ill patients, including those admitted for septic shock, post-cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, and strokes
• Monitor and administer medications and IVs
• Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect
