Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with an advanced degree in Nurse Practice.
Must have a current unrestricted California NP license.
Must be board certified in the relevant specialty.
Responsibilities
Provide care to hospital ICU patients under physician supervision.
Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams.
Collaborate with patients and families on the plan of care.
Educate patients on treatment protocols and wellness.
Document services in the patient's electronic medical record.
Skills
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents
Ability to relate to patients and their families
Minimum three years of related RN work experience
ACLS certification
Education
