Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years clinical nursing experience required.
• Two years ICU/critical care nursing experience required.
• Must be able to intubate patients and manage critical situations.
• Current CA RN and NP licenses (and furnishing) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in ICU and stepdown settings.
• Develop plans of care with individualized interventions.
• Perform approved procedures and order/interpret diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe interventions and medications per protocol.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling.
• Lead and mentor ICU trainees and support staff.
