Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking an ICU nurse to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care across units as needed, including nights. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, administer prescribed medications, document care, and develop patient plans according to physician guidance and policy.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with ADN required and BSN preferred, plus RN licensure in state of practice and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS cert within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Administers medications and treatments per standards and laws.
• Documents care according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Develops patient care plans with physician guidance and family instruction.
• Participates in performance improvement and unit governance.
• Escalates safety concerns through the chain of command.
