Qualifikationen

• BSN required, or completion within negotiated time frame.
• Current NYS nursing licensure.
• BLS within 90 days of hire date; ACLS required in critical care units.
• Education /experience in administration and supervision desirable.

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Conduct daily manager rounds and engage with patients, families, and staff to monitor care quality, patient satisfaction, and team performance.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to support coordinated care planning and positive patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing assessment, care planning, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support staff competency through orientation, education, credentialing, mentoring, and ongoing development.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Analyze clinical, quality, operational, and financial data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Foster professional, ethical work environment and effective communication across teams.
• Serve as role model for nursing staff and promote adherence to goals and standards.
