Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, is seeking an RN for the ICU to work nights in a full-time capacity. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment and participate in an AACN-based orientation program to build critical care competency.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and at least 6 months of RN experience. This onsite role does not offer remote or hybrid options; compensation is hourly and tied to experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board approved program if <3 years experience.
• State RN licensure and BLS/other life support certification as required.
• Minimum 6 months nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS by AHA or ARC with card in-hand before start date, valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct care in the ICU in a technically complex environment.
• Adhere to AACN's Synergy Model and ICU certification standards.
• Clinical Educators support and guide education and competency validation during orientation.
• Participate in a four-phased ICU orientation based on ECCO resources and simulated training.
