The 30-bed ICU handles heart and circulatory conditions, including ECMO and LVAD devices, with opportunities to observe assessment and routine care in a Magnet-designated academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Nursing student in final year of an accredited Nursing Program with at least one clinical rotation.
• Graduate Nurse without Boards required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic bedside care and nursing procedures under supervision.
• Learn and demonstrate physical assessment and routine care skills.
• Partner with an RN throughout the externship.
