Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Summer Nurse Extern for the Heart and Vascular Progressive Care unit. The 10-week externship runs May 17th–July 24th, 2027, and begins with a two-week orientation where you perform basic bedside care under an RN supervisor.

Open to nursing students in final year or graduate nurses awaiting boards; includes pairing with an RN to learn assessments, safety, hygiene, and routine care, with exposure to LVAD patients and cardiology services.

Competenze

• Nursing student in final year or graduate nurse without boards.
• Completed clinical rotations to be listed on resume.
• Enrollment in accredited nursing program.
