Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Education professional to support clinical excellence across units. The role focuses on maintaining specialty competence, developing and delivering formal education, and mentoring staff and students.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation, monitoring competency, and contributing to performance improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Florida RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure in the State of Florida and BLS required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical competence in specialty areas and provides safe patient care.
• Serves as a clinical resource to staff, preceptors, and students.
• Designs, plans, coordinates, and evaluates formal education programs for clinical areas.
• Assists in developing orientation programs and monitors staff competency records.
• Participates in Performance Improvement and research activities.
• Acts as a consultant and educator across hospital departments.
