Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners seeks an experienced RN Educator – ICU for a full-time role in Rock Hill, SC. The position focuses on education, orientation, competency, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff across units.

The ideal candidate will have bedside ICU or Med/Surg experience, an RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS). The role includes clinical teaching, onboarding support, and collaboration with nursing leadership to advance practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years bedside ICU or Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
• Current Permanent Multi-State RN License; compact state license allowed with 30 days to obtain MSRN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to obtain BLS Instructor certification during orientation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; teamwork with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess educational needs and develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs.
• Support new-hire orientation, onboarding, competency development, and continuing education.
• Deliver classroom instruction, clinical education, and in-services.
• Develop content aligned with regulatory standards and evidence-based practice.
• Serve as a clinical education resource for leadership and staff.
• Coordinate Grand Rounds and specialty education as needed.
• Promote patient safety and high-quality care.
