AdventHealth in Florida seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and coordination with the medical staff to ensure high-quality care.

The position offers opportunities for professional development within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, BLS certification, and has experience with NIHSS and arrhythmia procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Florida RN license required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Complete arrhythmia training or course within 90 days.
• NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire date, then annually.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
