Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program(s).
• Current NY State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CCRN certification within one year of hire.
• Telemetry experience: 2+ years.
• Critical care nursing experience: 1+ year preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess condition and document findings in EHR.
• Monitor cardiac rhythm and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Educate patient and family; discharge planning.
