Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, invites experienced ICU nurses to join our front-line care team. You will provide critical care, coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families with compassion.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure in Kentucky or a compact state, an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. Prior ICU experience is preferred, and we offer a supportive culture and comprehensive

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
• Associates degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area.
• At least one-year clinical nursing preferred.

Mansioni

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for ICU patients.
• Serve as primary coordinator of care across disciplines.
• Document and communicate patient condition using EHR systems.
• Assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• You will assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• Associates degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred
• BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area
• At least one-year clinical nursing preferred
