Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking an ER Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. The role includes assessments, care planning, medication administration, and thorough documentation to support high-quality outcomes.

The position requires ER experience, current KY (or compact state) RN licensure, BLS, ACLS & PALS within 1 year, and CPI within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.
• CPI within 6 months of employment.
• 1 Year of ER RN experience required for part time

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Promote hospital customer service initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nursesprovideand coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating withphysicians and multidisciplinary team members toprovidephysical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedtoassessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.
