Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have annual ACLS certification.
• Graduate from a nursing program with GA APN license or PA program with GA license.
• 2 years ICU experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adults.
• Obtain health histories and perform exams per hospital guidelines.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; explain procedures to patients and families.
• Perform airway management and critical care procedures per protocol.
• Insert and manage arterial/central lines and other invasive devices as directed.
• Collaborate on treatment plans with physicians and educate staff and learners.
