Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.

Minimum education is an Associate degree in nursing, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Licensure in SC or a compact state, along with BLS and ACLS, is required.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, either via AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and interact with the health care team to achieve desired results.
