Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for the ICU in Seattle, WA. This part-time role offers a 3x12 schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am, with weekend coverage required, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and high-acuity patient care.

The ICU provides mixed medical care with close nurse-patient ratios and collaboration with intensivists. Candidates must have ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, and WA RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience, or equivalent nursing experience on a high acuity critical care unit.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers.
• Follow evidence-based nursing practices.
• Provide bedside care for critically ill patients (septic shock, post-cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, strokes).
• Monitor and administer medications and IVs.
• Provide compassionate, dignified, and respectful patient care.
