Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN - Registered Nurse – State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required
• ACLS and PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Documents patient assessments accurately and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Assists with procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Participates in life-saving interventions and code team activities as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and ensures patient safety.
