Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practice. This role works under general supervision to coordinate patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Essential functions include reviewing patient needs, analyzing data to develop care plans, administering treatments, reconciling records for accuracy, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• RN licensure is required in North Carolina or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in the assigned unit.
• Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies additional interventions needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
