Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Night Shift in Milwaukee, WI, to support the Intensive Care Unit. You will help patients with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and comfort during their stay.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with physician-ordered treatments and monitor patient conditions, acting as a critical link in timely care delivery. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
• BLS Provider credential from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care by assisting patients with daily living activities.
• Support clinical care by assisting with physician-ordered treatments under RN supervision.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to assist the nursing team.
• Maintain clean, organized patient spaces to ensure safety and comfort.
