Job summary

Novant Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU on a part-time nights schedule. The RN will lead the healthcare team, build trusting relationships with patients and families, and coordinate care plans in collaboration with physicians to promote optimal health and compassionate end-of-life support as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN license has been inactive, you must complete a refresher course before reinstatement.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and coordinate an individualized plan of care with patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Lead the healthcare team to ensure evidence-based practice and safety in the ICU.
