Job summary

MEP Health in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU specialization for a full-time night shift in a community hospital setting. You will provide direct patient care, monitor critical conditions, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree, RN licensure, and strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• RN licensure required.
• Open to all experience levels; less than 2 years preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Promote patient and family-centered care with education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting values and culture.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and respond appropriately.
