Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU to work the night shift. The role requires delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care and leading the healthcare team within a high-quality, patient-centered environment.

Qualified candidates hold an active Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU/PCU experience. The center offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities across UHS locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• Minimum two years of critical care RN experience required
• All Nursing Units: ACLS as of start date; Women's Center: NRP as of start date; ICU/PCU: NIH within 90 days; ER: PALS, CPI within 90 days; PACU: PALS within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Other duties as assigned.
