Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center - Critical Care: ICU Neurology is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to perform patient care duties on a 7P-7A night shift. The role offers 24 hours per week with Benefits Eligible and a pay range of $19.80 - $29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, vitals, frequent observations, and documentation, with emphasis on safety, infection control, and supportive care for patients and families in a high-acuity unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.
• Experience in basic patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for all body systems, including bathing, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Pre- and post-op/procedure care.
• Post-mortem care.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Monitor and document intake/output, vital signs, weights, and other measurements.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and proper handling of body fluids.
