Barnes Jewish Hospital seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support an ICU Neuro unit. The role provides direct patient care under licensed nurses, focusing on ADLs, vital signs, and patient safety during night shifts. This position is benefits eligible and involves a 36-hour week with nights from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, plus holiday rotation and every third weekend.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA certification and a High School Diploma or GED, with no formal experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under nurse supervision, including ADLs, vital signs, intake & output, and basic care.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment for patient needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
