Job summary

Mercy Health’s ICU unit is seeking a Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech for The Jewish Hospital. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, relay information across care teams, assist families, and manage patient data entry and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma and a current BLS within 30 days of hire, with a supportive team and department meetings as part of ongoing service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac monitors and coordinate communications on the nursing unit.
• Handle incoming calls and coordinate communication among physicians, staff and families.
• Enter and retrieve patient information in data entry systems and maintain charts.
• Attend department meetings and perform other clerical duties.
